eye problem-whitish gunk in corner of eye

Our rabbit has 'gunk' in the corner of his eye--whitish, mats his fur.
Any help?  He seems to be okay in other eye and we don't see any other
discolouration.  Other than this he seems okay.

This is either an eye infection or a blocked tear duct - but  most likely an
infection.  Your vet can fix you up with an antibiotic eye ointment that will
clear it right up.  My vet uses "Tri-optic", but there are several that are
just as good.  The longer the bunny goes without treatment the higher his
chances for having impaired vision in that eye, and also the higher the chance
that he will spread it to the other eye, or even to his nose where it could
develop into a respiratory infection.
Good luck.
