I'm finally finished! New pics

Well, I finally finished the pond addition and even spruced up the
pre-form into a watergarden.  If you're not too busy please have a
look.  I'm kind of proud of the results since just two months ago I
didn't have a clue!

Can anyone tell me if the little giant pumps are good? I just got one and it
pumps 1950 gph. My pond has 1300 gals. of water.

Many say the Little Giants don't last, but I have had mine for years.
It has run flawlessly.

they work well but chew up elec. like a "dryer" :(

This might be old info. but my understanding has been they need to have
back pressure of approx. 1/4 to 1/3rd (throttled or head so your 1950 gph
is only pumping ~1300 gph) for long life and they use lots of power in
comparison to other pumps.

Do you know how many amps your's draws when running? Some LG are oil filled
and can cause oil slicks when they start to self destruct. But this may not
be your situation. If you can list more info on the pump (model #, etc.),
maybe others can update me, and calm your worries. ~ jan
