Minie you're almost there, only not THE club. Join A club, become an
officer of the board, volunteer to host a meeting, coordinate the pond tour
or day trips OOT, etc.. Better... do the club's newsletter, website, or
just the address labels.

Next, join Master Gardener, volunteer to learn all you can about ponding
and do a slide show for their Spring Garden Day.

After you're doing all or most of the above, you'll LOVE WINTER. I know I
do. ;o) ~ jan
