What will I get if the long fins spawn with the real koi?
Anyone had that happen?

 My buddy Vance uses "regular koi" sometimes in his breeding program.  I'm not sure about the difference between male longfin
or female longfin, but he tells me some of the koi will have long fisn, some short fins, and some intermediate.

I hadn't considered that.  I know that he tries to get the markings to
look clean and clear like the ones on good koi, but I didn't think of
his using real koi to do that.  I did when he told me about it, but not
when I was looking at my bulging female bf/ogon.
I'm sure curious.  I have a yellow b/f koi as well as a shusui and
white w/orange head (real koi) that are big enough to spawn.  Not to
mention the goldfish and shubunkins that are in there.  Should be
interesting.
