That's a little crazy. At least there'll be good muskie fishing until the
food supply runs out. =)

Do they taste good?
Folks in the PNW catch the 'squaw fish' for $$ to clean our waters of them.
Maybe that will be the
solution.

Muskies eat everything that comes their way. Other fish, baby ducklings are
their favourites. They are named affectionately "slew sharks" because of the
similar tactics and the big teeth that they and sharks both have.  I caught
lots and lots of muskies as a kid growing up on the Chippewa flowage in
Wisconsin, the Chippewa River is known as the Muskie capital of the world
(or so they said back then.)  The Tiger Muskie is a hybrid, its a cross of a
Muskellunge and a Northern Pike so they do not get as big as a Muskellunge
(69" used to be the record caught in Hayward Wisconsin in the 1960's).  You
might check as I dont know this myself, but a lot of mammal hybrids are
sterile and cannot reproduce, ie: horses and donkeys = mules.  Maybe if your
lucky they just wont reproduce.

You do know they live more than a few years, and get Huge, and have
voracious appetites, and will eat just about anything? They put them in
Otisco Lake and the panfishery went right down the toilet.

Good Luck!
