small koi and gold fish

I am new on here as of tonight so if this question has been asked in the
past I am sorry for repeating. We had 9 koi and 6 gold fish last year. The
koi are 4 years old and the gold fish the same age. Last year "they" had
babies....many many babies. Now they are all about 4 inches long this
spring. How can you tell if any of them are full bread koi?  We tried to
see if they had their wiskers yet but we can't see them. So they are either
all gold fish babies or we don't know how to tell the difference. Some of
the fish are the color of our koi . We want to give away all the gold fish
this year but don't want to give away any koi. Can anyone out there tell me
how I can tell which is which??  Thanks for your help...
And, we got a new net to catch the babies and bring them up to look at
them...we found out it is a very hard task. Is there a good way to catch
them in the net? If so, can you give us a hint?

koi babies are born with barbels (whiskers).  no barbels, not koi.

Best way to catch pond fish is with two nets. one from front & one from
behind.
