I was wondering if anyone has a favorite brand of koi food and why.

Kerry.

Hi Kerry,
I don't have a favorite (I don't even have koi), but I work in a pet
store (well . . . I gave my 2 week notice last friday, so I guess I used
to work in a pet store <grin>).  Anyway, it seems to me like there were
a few customers who liked the Hikari (sp?) brand of koi food.  I feed my
pond fish the ordinary Tetra pond diet (green box).  It's pretty low in
protein (good for cooler temps) and it isn't as hard as a rock like some
foods.  I am getting a new type of food tomorrow at my X-work from our
fish distributor, so I'll let you know how that goes.

that comes out from my kois whenever I feed them moderately. When I use
other brands...there is just so much visible waste!!

I guess it really is quite completely digestible for them and I love the
growth formula which I'm using to feed my young kois.
