Post by Robert » Fri, 08 Jun 2001 12:18:58

I ordered and received an Azoo Hurricane UV 18-watt Sterilizer for my
small pond.  Everything seems to be working well, except there was no
documentation with the unit (just some very basic flowrate info on the
side of the box ).  My main question in whether the unit is water
(i.e. rain) resistant or not.  I currently have the power supply in a
watertight box and the sterilizer wrapped in plastic, as us Buckeyes
have had this lovely rain for the past month (we're building an ark.)
It's been on for 2 days now, but I'm not looking for improvement for a
week or two.  Any help with this particular unit would be appreciated.

Hey Roberto If you mean Buckeye as in Ohioan.... can I get on the ark????
We are ready to float down here in Southern Ohio.  I like rain...  rain is
much better than drought ...  I like rain... rain is much better than
drought....  (actually I love all this rain...  the woods are so fragrant,
but we need to get our hay cut.)

I'm near Dayton, so we'll swing the ark down and pick you up (be sure
to bring your two best koi!)  I like rain as well, but not THIS much!
I'm a teacher and yesterday was my last day.  I need sun and dry so I
can work in my yard (and pond!)
Anyone know how to do a sun dance???

Same thing here in NE Ohio.  60s and rain at some point every day!  We need
some sun.  Hardy lilies are blooming and looking good, though.  The tropical
lily is*** in there very well but no blooms as yet.  Veggie Garden is a
whole other matter. ;(

We got hit again tonight here in SW Ohio (heavy storms and rain), but
at least my perennials are looking great.  I need to work on my
waterfall and collect some river rock, but now it'll have to wait
until the water recedes.

i hate it that you're getting smashed with too much rain and we aren't
getting anything but thunder and lightening. suppose that we could talk mr
bush into a giant pipeline to carry floodwater out here? naaaaahhhh.....
can't be done, i guess.
