EPDM liner and concrete blocks - liner protection

Post by Usen » Fri, 29 Aug 1997 04:00:00

This is my first EPDM lined pond. In my concrete pond I placed concrete
blocks to hold the planters.  I am concerned that the liner may be cut if
there is not some protection from the corners of the block.  Has anyone
used foam *** sheets (such as in cushions)?  Can anyone suggest
alternatives?

2" square styrofoam pads at the corners of the blocks ( I use 1/2" thick
blue styrofoam scraps from a local construction site) - you can even use
several thicknesses of the styrofoam that meats and cheeses come on from
the deli ... but be sure to wash them good and use about 3 or 4 layers
since they are thin.
