I got this great book called 'Parrot Toys and Play Areas' by Carol D'Arezzo
and Lauren Shannon-Nunn.  Has some great ideas on how
to keep your parrots occupied the cheap way.

E.g -  Peek-a-Treat
Cut a small hole in an appropriate sized box for your bird.  Let
your buddy see you put nuts, peanuts, popcorn or any other yummy treats
inside.  He gets the fun of trying to get the treat out.

If I give Swayzie (male tiel) a box with a hole in it he will drag Blue in
there and make a nest. He is the most insane bird when it comes to dark
crevices, corners anywhere! He even tried to court Blue under my arm pit
when I was lying down on my stomach. Crazy bird.
