LYING TO ITS CUSTOMERS AND THE PUBLIC?
PIJAC is terrifying its customers and the public. HR 669 will protect
our economy, environment, native species and human health from harmful
non-native species. But its fine with PIJAC for all those things to
suffer, as long as the pet industry keeps making plenty of money.
PIJAL is lying. The truth is,
? HR 669 has ABSOLUTELY NO EFFECT on any pet a person now has.
? The purpose of HR 669 is to exclude non-native species likely to
CAUSE HARM TO THE ECONOMY, THE ENVIRONMENT OR OTHER ANIMAL SPECIES, OR
TO HUMAN HEALTH.
? The industries which profit from the import and sale of non-native
species will have a full and thorough opportunity for input on which
species should and should not be permitted, as will humane societies
and the public at large.
? NO SPECIES will be excluded from the U.S. unless it is harmful to
our economy, the environment, native species, or humans.
? Even a species which may cause those harms will be allowed to remain
is it is already so widespread that it would not be practicable to
prohibit them.
WHY is PIJAC lying to its customers and the public?
One reason and one reason only : $$$$$$$$ MONEY $$$$$$ PIJAC is so
eager to get YOUR money in THEIR pockets that they are trying to tie
our lawmakers hands and make it impossible for our lawmakers to
protect our economy, environment, native species and human health from
harmful non-native species.
