A poem for all the troubled hammies and hammy owners

Just a nice little picker-upper for Rosie, Wendy, Max, Jane, Buttons and all
the other hammies and hammy owners not having a good run of luck. I think
this poem's cute ^.^
And I know we all love(d) our angels very much! and go out of our way to
make them happy! (vet visits, medicine baths, running to stores, finding the
good bedding, and comming here for advice!)

Hamsters are angels.

Hamsters are angels in disguise
From their short stubby tails
To their twinkling bright eyes
From their whiskery noses
To their soft, soft fur
From their tiny feet running pitter-patter to a blur
From small squeaks
To the way they eat
These cute little angels can't be beat!
So give them a home to build a nest
Give them water and hammy food at it's best
From scrambled eggs and cheese
To nuts, berries, and seeds
A wheel to run about
A time to play and come out
But most important of all for your friends from above
Is giving your little angels lots and lots of love!

Thank you very much for that lovely poem, and your kind sympathies, Phoebe.
It's good to know others share the same passion for these loveys, whether in
joy or heartache.

Hugs to your hammies,
Jane

What a lovely sentiment expressed in your poem Phoebe.  I think Phoebe is
such a nice name too.

Excellent poem, Phoebe....I'd be proud to be able to write poetry of that
high caliber!
