Hey to those who remember me - Wendy from the UK!

I'm surprised that this group isn't thriving like it used to.  Such a shame.
I recall such lovely hamster caring folk.  Miss those days.  Life seemed so
simple back then.

Anyway, if you check in and you remember me, then give me a wave!

Hi Wendy, lovely to hear from you. It sounds like you are still kept busy
with the rescues. I hope you and yours are well.

It has been very quiet for some while now. I think there are a lot of forum
based groups and it seems most new hamster owners like that format better.
Also a  lot of ISP's have dropped newsgroup access altogether.

I'm still hamsterless ( for the longest time ever in 50 yrs). We moved to
Scotland in 2007 and I lost my last 2 several months before the move from
old age. I'm not really looking for more at the moment though I miss their
company badly. We are still doing this old cottage up and judging by the way
"mouse" drops in and out when it feels like it, its far from hamster
proof.lol!
