new names for the girls :-)

Post by Patricia Simo » Fri, 29 Dec 2000 06:34:14

Hi all,

I'm back after a brief and much-deserved break.

In keeping with the holiday spirit (...and after *perhaps* one too many
eggnogs...), we decided to give our girls special holiday names this year.

Was it on this group that I read that only female reindeer have antlers?
Don't know if it's true, but just in case:

Suzy has been renamed Dancer.
Ginger has become the Prancer.
And Hazel is the Little Vixen.
(that IS a reindeer name, isn't it?)

The girls don't care what we call them, of course, as long as they get lots
of loving and Christmas treats (not necessarily in that order) -- extra
servings of yams and beets and cranberries.

Merry merry, piggies and slaves,
Patricia

Dancer and Prancer are really fitting for piggies!  About that
Vixen, hmmmmm  :0)

We just had 4 more added to our gang and we named them all
after family:  Shirley, Phyllis, Louie and Lauren.  John's Mom,
My mom, my sister and my neice!

Regards,
Carolyn

Welcome back, Patricia.
Are you going to keep the new names or is it temporary?
Prue is doing really well after her op in August thanks to your advice,
Have a happy New Year,
  Ally, Prue and Chloe.

Temporary, of course.  I can't really see myself at the vet's office saying,
"Okay, wherever it says 'Ginger', change it to 'Prancer'..." :)

You too, Ally!  Glad that Prudence is doing well.
