New Piggies

Post by Rosdiana Kwe » Tue, 26 Dec 2000 21:53:53

Hello one & all.

I've just gotten myself 2 GPs, Sheba & Caesar, from a friend who had more
than he could handle. Before their second day with me, my little piggies
decided to present me with an early X'mas gift yesterday; 2 little piglets.
Boy, was I surprised! Anyway, I need some info & advice about these adorable
creatures. Though I am an animal-lover with three cats and 9 hamsters, I've
no experience whatsoever with GPs. If anyone can help me with the necessary
info needed to keep my GPs happy & healthy, I'll be eternally grateful.

Regards & thks,
Deedee

One thing to be aware of is that gps are immediately in heat after
delivering; if you don't want *more* babies, you had best separate your
two--unless it's two late already.

Congratul;ations and my veru best wishes for you
and CaSandra -- that must be the most wonderful Xmas present
one can imagine.

They need hay, veggies and when the moms stopped nursing they
don't need that much pellets anymore...

Besides taking the boar to the vets for the removal of his gems
that's all you need to know for now..

Have fun !
