New Babies

I have spent the last two days besotted with our five new babies. They have
all been named and are now known as Ginger, Tiger, Sparkle, Slim Shady and
Grace or Garfield ( depending on whether it is a boy or a girl). I have now
been able to sex them yet as they are still small and quite fidgety but they
are already developing their own personalities.

Britney - their mother - is doing a wonderful job with them and puts up with
them all climbing over her and fighting to be fed. I am so proud of Britney
considering this is her first litter. They have all started to eat some hay,
carrots, cabbage and dried food. I could spend all day just watching them.

I hope to be able to tell if they are male or female soon and their names
may change. I'll keep you all posted and thanks for the messages of
congratulations.

Nicky.

What great news! Poor Mama Britney...I'll bet she was relieved to "pop out"
all those babies!  She must've been HUGE! Wow! 5 is a lot for a first time
litter & mom...she must be a very special pig. To be such a good mama is so
nice for all of you. Wish we could see the babies clamoring all over
her...I'm sure they are adorable. Congrats, Jerry

Congratulations! You're really lucky to have such a healthy litter of 5.
Make sure you give plenty of goodies to Mummy Britney, cuz she's gonna need
all the food she can get with those babies clamouring all over her. =^_^=

Happy wheeking!

Melissa

They were born on 27th December. I think we have one boar and 4 sows but am
not a 100% sure yet.

Well done to mama pig! Those little ones will grow up quite fast though.
It'll be fun to watch them learn new things.
