O.K., so you all know now that I have a new albino ferret. (check math
post ) He is still skittish, won't use the litter box, likes raisins,
haven't seen him eat, and sniffs everything! :) I think that he will adjust,
but what about a name? Nothing is sticking!! We tried Bandit ( he steals
everything! ) Powder, I don't know, nothing is sticking. He Luvs the dryer
tube. Any suggestions!? Help. Thanx

He's albino, and you say you want something that will stick?

Have you tried glue?  White glue?  Elmer's?

(Does he have big ears like Elmer Fudd?)  *G*

how about Zorro? In Spanish, it means "sly, craft person". then you could
make him a little black mask, and a little black cape, and get one of those
little plastic swords that are for hourderves (sp?)...um, or not.... <g>
Vivo (vee-voe)? Spanish for lively/brisk/foxy/sly/cunning/quick.
Huron (her-*own*)? Spanish for...ferret.....
Nevisca(nay-vees-ka)? Spanish for snow flurry.
Alud (ah-lewd)? Spanish for avalanche.
Inspector (Gadget) since he investigates everything?
ok well, now that I've driven you all crazy with my Spanish lesson for the
day....adios! <g>

I've read McCaffery for years; even met her once (the sweetest little
grandmotherly-type lady), and I've never known it wasn't pronounced "rooth."
Go figger.

Ruth is, of course, my favorite dragon, the little white one with the heart of
gold.

Why don't you think of some words or names matching his character or
behaviour and translate them  in to another language. I could help you with
the dutch,and maybe some french or german and I'm sure all the other people
from other countries are willing to help.
Some examples: (english = dutch)
Snow = sneeuw
White = Wit
Ferret = Fret
Red Eye = Rood Oog
Milk = Melk
Bandit = Bandiet, Boef, Dief
Raisin = Rozijn
Cream = Room
Powder = Poeder
Just some words that crossed my mind, just ask if you want to know some
more.
