Absolutely....In fact most ferrets prefer to live together. I would not
recommend letting an un-altered male live with them, but otherwise, most
ferrets will get along fine and do better with company. There might be some
"arguements" occasionally, but that is generally because somebody is sleeping
in somebody else's established bed....:) Just like human kids......

Jeff,

Most pet ferrets have been spayed/neutered.  So the sex is no matter.  When
looking for a companion for one ferret, make sure that they are within 1-2
years of the same age, and they will probably get along fine.

The main thing to make sure of is do they have plenty of room
You may need a bigger cage.  Will you be letting them out
for plenty of exercise?  Ours have to have at least 30 min
twice a day.  Anymore than that at a time and they find things
to get into trouble with.
