I've got two male ferrets, both about 2 years old: One is a big meaty pushover,
and the other is a considerably smaller, bony, hyperactive critter.  I would
not worry too much about yours being skinny.  Mine does quite well despite the
fact that he's not much more than nuclear-powered skeleton with fur.

Relax! some ferrets are super skinny and this does not effect their
ferretness
in any way! They can still be wacky rascals.

We have two ferrets.  Our Sammy is 6 months old and 3 1/2 pounds.  We have
another ferret, Simon, that's 3 months old and he weighs almost 2 pounds.
We gave them about a 1/2 inch strip of FerretVite almost every day for a
while.  We kinda over did it but we got a couple of heffers for their
age!!!
