Help with introducing new ferret to group

Yup - it takes time.  Screaming is normal when they're nervous.   My Rosie
still screams a lot when Kiwi (the newcomer) comes too close, although they
are learning to play together.  Have you tried one of your guys at a time
with the kit?  He might be intimidated by three strangers.

Some things have to be believed to be seen...

Help with introducing new ferret to group

When i got Tinker i put her in the cage next to Gomaz. I would pick up one
and then the other until they got used to each others smell. I swapped their
bedding around so that the smell was nothing new.
Eventually i got them out together, holding them seperately so that they
would know the other was a friend not a foe. Took about 3 days of this and
they 'put up with each other' now 2 months later you can't seperate them,
and ***ed if i can get a cuddle out of either of them.
