Tasha made it through her surgery very well.She wants out of her hospital cage
badly,and really wants to run around.I can't believe that the people that
starved her and Boris wanted them back.They signed papers of surrender,so we
should be safe.If necessary I'd drive them to another state first.
Jasmine,my little old lady with the warrior spirit has lymphoma.I'm open to
anything that's helped anyone through this.Want to make her as comfortable as
possible.May all the fuzzies live long and healthy lives and their fuzzy folk
also.

Dr. Karen Purcell's book "Essentials of Ferrets" has 6 or 8 pages on
lymphoma, including the step by step procedure for chemotherapy. One
point she makes is in regard to prednisone. If a ferret is a candidate
for chemo, don't give prednisone before hand as it will interfer with
it's effect during the chemo. If a ferret is not a candidate for chemo,
she says that prednisone improves the quality of life. See if your vet
has access to the second edition of this book.
