New science fiction and spiders

I love spiders as pets, and just finished reading a fabulous
science-ficton novel called SPIDER LEGS.  It was just published
and written by Piers Anthony.  I think all of you will really
love it.   It's creepy.  Interesting setting.  Quirky characters.

Is it full of dreadful puns? Most Piers Anthony books I have ever read have
been - they're funny for a while, but they get very tiring throughout a whole
book.

Hi, this book is very unlike Piers Anthony's other books.  It's a
collaboration with Cliff Pickover.  Here is his web page:

The book also discusses underwater spiders, called Pycnogonids, that
terrorize a New Foundland coast.  Very exciting book.  Great for any
age, but quite scary.
