Definitely a tarantula. The "wing thing" is just more of the molt,
you can see in the second photo where a top section is missing (the
part where you can see inside the legs, those holes) - that's where
that part was.
As for type I'm no expert, maybe a Chilean Rose. Looks like it, and
they're common enough as pets.
