need help moving spider eggs!

Post by Brya » Tue, 12 Jan 1999 04:00:00

I've found about 75 spider egg sacs in my garage in a corner near the
hot water heater.

I'd like to move these egg-sacs outside into the sh***y along the
periphery of my house.

I have no idea what kind of spiders these are and if it is safe to move
them.

Some of my concerns are temperature, (can they survive freezing
temperatures?), can they withstand being lifted and reanchored in twigs
and against masonry, etc ..

Any help/comments appreciated ..

Bryan, where do you live?  Size, shape, color, texture and physical location
of sacs- on the ground, in a web etc?

yes this would be very helpful, for all we know they could be a bunch of
black widow sacs
