4 days ago I purchased a Mexican Pink Bird Eater spiderling, it is a third
moult and is 3 cm's in size. The problem is that it won't eat, I have gave
it micro and larg crickets but it eaither runs away or chases them, but it
won't bite or kill them. It has a dark patch on the end of it's abdoman but
hasn't made much web, could it be aproaching a moult?. Could someone please
tell me if it should be eating?. Thanks.

It could be that it hasn't settled in yet but it does sound like it is
going to moult. Don't worry till it hasn't eaten for a few weeks.

The spider finaly ate a fully grow grey cricket today, and does not seem as
nervous any more.
