Hello,

I have available to me a large field here in Utah where I can grow garden
crops.  Irrigation water is provided.

One thing I'm interested in growing is spray millet, at least a few rows, to
feed my pet birds (as a treat), and maybe even wild birds if I grow enough.

I find that the spray millet sprigs I buy in the store are expensive (yes,
Mabel, some people here have mentioned wholesale suppliers where I can buy
spray millet cheaper than the local PetsMart, but I am interested in growing
it myself as the prices I've seen quoted wholesale are *still* too high...)

Thus, I'd like a quick tutorial on growing spray millet myself.  I need info
on such things as:

1) Which varieties are recommended?  (I assume there are many varieties).
2) Seed suppliers for recommended varieties.
3) Planting, growing, and harvesting tips.
4) Drying, storage tips.
5) Problems with growing spray millet.

also is the fact that you can grow it organically, further cutting back on
the chemicals your pets are exposed to....D/
