Not one single post from 'you know who' today? Gads! Things almost feel
back to normal. We're even talking about BIRDS without getting
side-tracked!

I'm trying desparately not to respond to the crapola, perhaps we could start a
12-step program here?

And thanks to all of you who are helping out The Tropics, the work these two
people perform is truly amazing and (much as I hate to use the term) inspiring.

I don't know anyone in a 12 step program.  I do remember on the day my
divorce was final, my attorney gave me some advice:
1) Don't bad rap the ex-husband around the kids.
2) Don't wear your good jewelry.
3) Beware of 12 Steppers.

There were some others but I have forgotten what they were.

4) Don't re-marry for at least three years, but if you do, don't ask me to
handle the divorce.

mamabird-wish you and everyone would leave it alone-i truly am annoyed-i have
ten birds-2 scarlets-1 harlq'-2 greys-1 red lord-1 yellow nape-1 yellow crown-1
senegal-1 severe-all of these birds have been avian doctor documented as some
of the worse cases ever seen of abuse by the hands of humans-they are my
children-i am their 24 hour a day caretaker-they are my life-i have viewed this
site periodically and e-mailed privately a few of you as to myself on a
personal note-all i want to relay to this group is that everyone of my birds
has been brought into my life-through the efforts of a person who has dedicated
their life to saving birds and providing the highest quality of care to their
own-i met this person when my beloved mul'cockatoo passsed away and advertised
her fantastic cage for sale-this person responded and bought the cage-since
then- anytime i have needed anything for my birds-this person has been a
support line that has helped me in every aspect of the care of my ten birds.as
someone replied to me in this group on a private e-mail-we must judge on
individual basis-interactions, etc... i do not want to get tied up in this-in
any way-i simply wanted you to know that the person responsible for bringing
all of my dear feathered and unfeatherd children into my life is sbrea...can
the undermining statements just be left alone-enjoy the silence-i have tried to
help you all to have this silence-and you don't even know this-how neccessary
is it to continue with these sly remarks when positive action has been taken by
giving you silence?thank you for listening and just take from my sincere
-heartfelt statement-my birds are the priority in my life-not getting mixed up
in this-i would like to view this site and learn-and ask and hope to feel i
could give some positive input being a bird parent-a good night to all and take
care-thank you for listening and hopefully, taking  this with true positive
understanding.jackie nangle
