Iguana not hiding

Last night, when the timer shut off Zeus's lights, he stayed on his basking
spot, and fell asleep there.  Usually he finds a hiding spot in his vines to
sleep.  Is this abnormal?  Is it a good thing or a bad thing?  I was
thinking it could be that he just isn't scared of us anymore... any
thoughts?  Vet visit soon either way, I don't like this change in behavior.

Dont' worry about it unless he becomes lethargic and/or stops eating.
He may just finally be convinced that you're not going to kill him
while he sleeps.

Well, we took him out today and let him walk around, and there is a
NOTICEABLE improvement from when we first got him.  Now I can approach him
slowly while he is out and about and pick him up.  Before he darted from me
whenever I got near him.  He's grown about 2 inches since I got him, and
gained a little weight (haven't weighed him yet, but he's noticeably plumper
and more cylindrical).  I can't wait until he sees me as a friend instead of
keeping a wary eye on me.  It was fun though.
