i got one of these repti temps thing. i hooked everything about at
least i think. these is this comeing from the repti temp it looks like
a portable micophone where do i put that

The "portable microphone" is your temperature probe. You would place this in
the tank/cage/setup to actually monitor the temperature of the enclosure.
This is what allows the thermometer to regulate the proper temp(s) in your
enclosure(s).

I put mine right in the basking spot, but move it around as necessary to
monitor different areas of the thermal gradient.
