How do I run power into my terrarium

Any ideas for running a power cord inside my terrarium without
damaging it?  I want to install a waterfall with a pump.

Jerry,

Take your terrarium to a local glass shop. They can drill (or cut) a small
opening in the side of your terrarium so you can run the power cord through
(you may have to clip off the plug and then splice it back on when you feed
it through the hole).

Do NOT drill through the bottom of the tank (especially important if your
terrarium is a fish tank convert) as most fish tanks have tempered glass
bottoms. Touch this stuff with a drill or heat and it will definitely
shatter.

Good luck!

Wow, fancy. That's a nifty idea, and I'll keep it in mind. I've long
thought it'd be neat to have an aquarium filter setup where the filter
and pump are outside the tank, and there's an overflow outlet near the
top of one tank wall. What kind of drill bit do they use to go through
glass?

I figured it out myself....well, with a little help from a contractor
I had working around the house. :)

Used a grinder, ground a notch out of each top...works great.
