I'm having a hard time deciding if Zero is to be taken seriously or
not. While there is a fair amount of dubious information on ignauas
(Iguana iguana) in the hobby books, there is tons of stuff in the
scientific literature. I. iguana is *the* most studied lizard in the
world. While looking for stuff on my basilisks I personally have seen
at least 2 dozen papers on iguanas. I shudder to think how much I
could find if I did a search on them alone.
Zero, dozens of PhD herpetologists have been studying iguanas for
decades. The information is all there. What creditials do you have
that you can determine which is fact and which is fiction? You sure
talk as if you know it all; passing judgement upon all printed
literature. Also, I'm not going to do the literature search for you.
You obviously don't even know what information is already available
beyond a few TFH books. There are some excellent hobbist books
available, too.
It is extremely rare for me to get this personal in my replies, but
you come on like some tabloid journalist who's hellbent on exposing
all the evil terrible secerets about iguana keeping. Gimmie a break.
Take a valium and do a little research first before your start
shrieking about all the lies, damn lies and hobbist books on iguana
care.
