However, if you've had him for a long time and he's just started hiding,
that may be more serious. Sometimes iguanas who were previously brave
start to hide if they become sick. If that's the case, you might want to
see a vet. Take a poop sample in a plastic baggie with you and the vet
will tell you if he has parasites (most iguanas do when you first get
them).
As for the blue-green color head, if that is a light blue-green, it is
normal for some iguanas. If you mean a dark blue, like a bruise, it
might *be* a bruise - perhaps he is rubbing his head on the log?
