Wanted : Rosy Boas or Rainbow boa

Post by DragonKeepe » Fri, 02 Feb 1996 04:00:00

Ok, I have thought about it for awhile, and I made a decision.  I want
either a pair of rosy boas, or a rainbow boa.  Here is my criteria for
each below:

Rosy boas:

Must be captive bred, and relatively young (at most a year old) or atleast
still small, premature.  An unrelated pair, similar in pattern.  Must be
well feeding, parasite-free, etc.  I want calm snakes, no rejects or
lemons that are psycho.  I would like mid-baja or any of the orange type
phases, I do not want the mexican, or any other chocolate/white phase
boas.  I will pay shipping and handling, but would prefer if there was
somebody in the pittsburgh area to avoid this.

Rainbow boa:

Must be less than a year old, captive bred.  Same restrictions as above,
but I only need one, male or female.

I hope this doesn't sound picky, but from any good dealer or breeder,
these requirements should be expected.  Also, I figured I would post here
first to see if anybody has any suggestions before I go and just pick a
dealer off the net here or go and look through my reptiles magazines.  I
will take any suggestions.

Also, if you don't necessarily have what I want, but have something
similar, let me know.  Also, if you know of a good dealer that would
probably have the above reasonably priced, and good quality, let me know.
Price isn't the most important thing if I can get one that I think that
will be really good (such as an unusually calm specimen, though they are
generally both extremely calm)......

E-mail me, because I don't jump on the net much anymore, so I will most
likely miss any replies on the newsgroup...

Thanks....

Jeff

I am sorry, I don't know what happened, but could you post again?  It
seems to have been cut off prematurely.  Also, could you send me e-mail,
so I get it for sure?  I may not see it if you post it on the netnews....
