Whites & White lipped

I have two questions.
    1.  Why do the Whites frogs get a disease or open sores on their noses.
It looks like the outer skin is peeled off.  Is this contagious?

    2.  Are the Indonesian Giant frogs ever called flying temple frog?  Is
this the same as a White Lipped frog?

Thanks

usually open sores are caused from rubbing up against the glass or gravel. the
skin gets infected easily once its scraped, if this happens i would reccomend
using silvadine or betadine on it to get rid of the infection, or better yet
prevent it by cleaning it out with  a 1/5 solution of hydrogen peroxide and
then dab it with a little neosporin, its simple yet effective

It's typically from being in too small of an enclosure.  The frog is
rubbing its nose trying to get out.  The sores could become infected in
which case, you should take your frog to a vet.
