As a long-time serious venomous keeper, I felt compelled to
respond to this rediculous post. You sir, are a flake. It is people
like this who give dedicated, serious hot herpetoculturists a bad name.
With the possible exception of your fat-tail scorpions and black widow
spider, NOTHING you have is deadly or even remotely close. It is this
unfortunate and insecure attitude of "Man, I have a diamondback
rattlesnake and he could kill your ass if you cross me and I'm
cool, see?" that causes a ruckus with both the public and real herpers
alike. A couple of corn snakes and a ball python (or whatever) does NOT
technically or morally qualify you to undertake venomous snake
husbandry. Please do the herp community a favour - don't bother until
you gain AT LEAST 10yrs experience with aggressive non-venomous species
first. What do you want next - a Dendroaspis polylepis?! (If you
actually have to go look up what that is, you're really not ready!)

Hi Allen,
I don't have to go look up what Dendroaspis is, have been keeping venomous
snakes for more than 40 years, and still admit there are ceratin species
for which I am not yet ready (Dendroaspis is among these!)   Rgds/Dick
