Mousie Hunt day 7

Saturday was another rainy day in Fresno. For months now, the south
Texas area has been dry as a bone, but for several weeks now there
has been rain nearly every day. The Fresno Cats wrote their disposition
for Mr Christofur, hoping to settle the differences between the cats in
the hunt and the pet mice, rats, and birds who now have to remain 100 yards
from the trailer and field. Hopefully, they can come to an agreement on
this matter before the next hunt.

The younger kitties wanted to watch TV, so a VCR was brought to the trailer
and the cats spent part of the morning watching the Aristocats, The Cat
from OUter Space, That Darn Cat, and other movies featuring famous cat-
ers and cat-resses.

Since the rain looked like it was not going to let up, plus meowmy Barbara
heard on the human news that Neil Frank (the great Houston Weatherman) said
it was going to rain all weekend, the mousie hunt was cut short. All the
kitties said farewell, and teleported home, tired but happy that they had
come.

Many thanks to the kitties who helped with the food and drinks. A special
thanks to JonTom, Vlad, Peirre, and Trouble, who looked after the young
kitties and taught them how to properly hunt.

Hmmph! Why should WE come to an agreement! Stop acting like it's all our
fault!! You have to compromise too. BTW, if we have our way, this cruel
business will stop and there won't be a "next hunt". Why should we keep
100 yards from the trailer and field? Huh, huh?

Those were cool movies! Before now, I'd only seen Aristocats. They were
all great!

Dear Milky Way,

I have offered my services as a mediator in this dispute on another
thread, perhaps you did not see it.  The injuction granted at that time
was of a temporary nature, to last only until both sides had submitted
depositions explaining their side of the dispute and a deciscion was
made.  I have since recieved one from the cats and am awaiting one from
your side.  Might I expect one soon?

Myours, (trying to keep teeth covered so as not to frighten)

I was saying, "send me your gol-durned story of your side of the fight",
but I see you've done that on another thread.  -Christofur, esq.

I read entirely too much and all kinds of useless garbage seems to get
stuck in my brain. :-)  -Melinda
