piglet plying around in my drawers!

my kitty piglet was in my built in dresser drawers yesterday evening!
(no not in my underwear) ha! the drawers are under my closets, that are
built in also. she had ot swish herself pretty tight to get in the
drawer cause it was barely open. all of a sudden the drawer grew a paw,
and she would snag something from the closet and drag it in. then she
would try to look at us from inside the drawer. all you could see were
these flattened ears, and a cute set of eyes.

then she would slink out and jump into the drawer next to it, doing
flips on the way in. she was hilarious, and kept us in stitches for a
good fif*** minutes. to bad i ran out of film. i need a video camera.

anyway, just thought i'd tell you about this funny-ness. we could all
use a laugh right now don't you think!?

nan and piglet: who loves to stalk the wild toe ;)!!!

My cat Sidney has "discovered" drawers too.  He graduated to drawers
after he mastered cupboards in the kitchen.  I saw him experimenting with
opening the drawer by standing on his hind legs, hooking his paw over the
top of the drawer pull and walking backwards until the drawer opened or
he lost his balance, whichever came first.  Then he would go around to
the side of the drawer, stand on hind legs again, and work it open a
little more.  Then he would leap into the drawer triumphantly!  Very
cute! (except now nothing in drawers OR cupboards is safe and I close
them as I enter each room).

That is cute! My cats stay away from drawers after the _scarey drawer
experience_ ! Lister jumped into a drawer near the top of a fairly
light-wieght dresser once. Tristan was standing innocently nearby.
Lister's wieght tipped the whole dresser forwards, nearly landing on both
of them! It scared me more than it scared them! They have never done that
again!
