Hi. Sure I can help you. We had a guy that contracted the patio do the
cat-enclosure to match as well. I have pictures of it if you'd like.
Its about 8 feet by 17 feet, and excessible thru a cat flap next to our
fireplace in the den. From the backyard it looks like a jaccuzzi enclosure.
All redwood w/lattice front and door and slatted cover that lets the sun in yet
provides shade for our Las Vegas summers.
Inside is a cedar planter with black volcanic rock and lots of plants and
grasses to do the "cat stalking thing" in. (their own private jungle if you
will) I also added one of those little 'doggie-igloos' built into the side of
the planter so it becomes a "secret cave". My son found a large carpeted
cat-tree that was all worn out in someones trash and brought it over for an
outside toy. They LOVE that thing!
They spend a good deal of time outside now in thier new home and seem so much
happier for the fresh air and sunshine....they even caught a bird...little
rascals. We saved it.... and let it go much to thier dismay.
If you have the space to build the enclosure I would whole-heartedly recomend
it. Please email me for pictures.
