God bless you all!   I have an especially full "ark'.   Nine cats, one
guinea pig, two rabbits, two pigeons that I hand raised from orphaned
babies....first a boy "El Pollo Loco"  and then a year later a girl "Rusty";
over the weekend they became the proud first time parents of two ***y
eggs...........results pending!
The kitties love to peer into the glassed - in front porch where the other
critters are kept!

You'll deserve a good rest very soon!  hang in there.

how sweet, you have done a great job. Keep up the good work the cat/kitten
community appreciates you.
Tell that hubby that he is proof old dogs can learn new cat tricks.

Hi all!  Time for an update from my over-run kitty hell of a home.
haahahaha   I love it.  What possessed me to take on 12 of them
though!!!!!?????
The first 4 are leaving tomorrow....waaaaaa!  I really do hate to see them
go.   They are 2 male and 2 female, black and white tuxedos and tigers.
They'll be  going to a local ranch to be barn cats.  They are semi-tame but not
what anyone would want for a house pet, although the owner of the ranch says if
they change thier minds about people they'll be welcome house cats.  (I liked
hearing that!) They'll have a nice ranch to live on and the owner will provide
them with dry food and fresh water in exchange for mousing his property.  They
have indoor access to the barns as well to get out of the heat and cold and
will be the only kitties on the property.
They were spayed and nuetered Thursday and came home with me to recuperate
here where they are comfortable.....well I couldn't just leave them in cages
could I?????  I'm driving them 30 miles to thier new home tomorrow myself, I
know I'll cry!   I'll get pictures if I can.
The next set of 3 male siblings are going to be altered in approx 10 days
and placed in thier new home 4 days later.    A luxiurious high-price horse
stables awaits them. Same deal as above, but thier accomodations will be a
little sweeter....air-conditioning and heating!  AND a loft!!!!
The last group of 5 are house pet quality.  (big smile) Of course they were
only 2 weeks old when I got them!  I've got another 3-4 weeks left with
them...it depends on wieght as to when the vets will spay/nueter so we'll
see...  Marmalade already has a home waiting for him (and possibly a sibling as
well), and I'll let you know the statis of the others as they become adopted.
This last group turned into such sweet kitties you'd never know thier origin
was feral.  I'm sure our own 4 cats,  especially Garth, are responsible for
more than I have been in the way of taming them.
My husband has gotten so sweet and accepting about all my crazy kitty
stuff!  To think when I first went out with him 14 years ago he said he "really
didn't like cats"!  Now he's a cat-man thru and thru...in fact he's laying in
bed now with the 5 little guys watching The Godfather for about the millionth
time!  He really surprised me tonight when he said he'll be ready to get
another group of ferals when these last ones are placed!!!
I LOVE THIS GUY!

awww, is it really time for them to leave?  So soon?  It seems like only
yesterday that you brought them home :-)  It sounds like they are going
to really great homes.  You've done a great job, Ginny.  Can't wait to
hear stories about the new kitties!  Best Regards, Connie

PS you *DID* warn the horses, didn't you? <VBG>

I just got back from dropping my babies off at thier new home.  BooHoo   sniff
 blow

The guy and his wife and little girls are very nice.  He milked the cow right
into a pie-pan and set it out for his new kitties....<gobble gobble gobble>
they didn't even watch me drive away! Little ingrates!!!!   I can see already
they will be spoiled and cared for.
One of the little girls said "Oh Daddy!  Theyre too little to be outside at
night don't you think?"  and he said "Honey if you can convince them to come on
inside, its ok with me....and I guess if anyone can do that, its you Princess"
She just beamed up at him.
Yeah those kitties will be sleeping by the fire by Christmas I bet!  ;)
