Mousie Hunt day Three

Day three of the mousie hunt dawned bright and early. Already there
were many, many cats there, with more arriving all the time. The
horses were ready at the fence, and the stomping began. Because of the
rain the day before, some of the cats jumped on the backs of the horses
and rode around the pasture. They had a vantage point then of pointing
out which way the mice went. Renegade, the youngest of the horses, went
into the yard with the younger kitties and started giving rides to them.

It was noted that there were several small birds, budgies and***atiels,
out in the pasture along with what were obviously pet mice. These small
animals were attacking some of the cats participating in the hunt. Patches,
Britches, and Trouble immediatly went to them and had a pow-wow with them.
More details on this to come.

Back in the yard, Juanny and Vlad were instructing the young kittens who
were not riding the horse the fine arts of mouse catching, including how
to catch a mouse and NOT kill it. Several of these young cats show promise
of becoming terrific mousers.

The BBQ was once again a wonderful way to end the day. A large amount of
BBQ, nip juleps, mousekaritas, and nip cookieswere placed on a table off
to the side. A few of the cats were watching this table but nothing happened.

See you all tomorrow.

NO! NO! WE WONT GO!!!!!!

We protest this mousie hunt. To show kitties what it's like, we have
arranged a Kitty Hunt. That's right. Right here!

Milky Way

Kitsen buttin in: Patches! Britches! Trouble! Better watch out for them.
They're tiny, but they were able to tie me up! Luckily, I undid the ropes
and got out here to warn you. Be careful!!! But, do go on with the Hunt.
Just watch for the betraying rodents and birds!
