Yes there are mouse traps for catching mice live. You should be able to
borrow on from the wildlife/conservation  offfice of game warden depending
where you live.
Failing that you more likely to find a live trap for small rodentd in a
hardware stror.

Now, don't laugh at me ... is there such a thing as a humane mouse trap
(i.e., one that will not kill the mouse)?  Our 7.5 year old, Licorice, seems
to have flushed out a mouse nest in our bathroom that's being remodeled.

She already killed a baby mouse.  Then she camped out near the doorway.  I
just heard her rush downstairs.  I followed & she had trapped an *** mouse
in our ba***t.  I carried her upsatris & closed he ba***t door.  I could
eliminate the problem by just letting her & Tigger go into the ba***t.
But I'd just as soon they didn't kill the mouse (they could get parasites,
if nothing else).

Do pet stores carry humane mouse traps?  I'd just as soon give the little
*** a chance.

Thanks for the reply.  I went to the hardware store this morning & bought
the first trap shown on this page.  I baited it with peanut butter & cheese.
I check a few hours ago & nothing ... I'm still hoping.

Licorice camped out in front of the bathroom door all evening.  Much to her
disappointment, no more mice showed up :-(

Jonathan,

I'm the same way.  I know their rodents, but I
don't want to see them "hunted" by our cats (what
a painful way to go), nor can I even imagine a
mouse trap.  I'm glad you're heart has room for
the mousies in this world too!

I've had some success setting live mouse traps with bacon. A friend of
mine was successful with pizza. Good luck!
