I've found Dave's soft side (not OT)

Post by Lesley Madiga » Wed, 25 May 2011 00:28:23

Dave and me have both been afflicted by the lurgy- he;s been living
off soup and mineral water since last Thursday and I'm not at work
today because I was up all night through it seems to be passing and my
hope is if I get an early night I'll be okay in the morning

Yesterday we were wondering what might have caused this and he said "I
think it was the sausage from the sandwich bar"

So i said it couldn't be as I won't eat breakfast from there (It's
***y awful but sometimes when he wakes up and he's hungry he;ll have
it because I dont have time to stop and cook)

He said "Sarsi didn't touch it"

I said "Aaprt from ham- neither of them like Hoomin food"

Turns out if I bring him in a breakfast he puts a little egg, bacon
and sausage aside ("Not chips- she doesn't like them")  and Sarsi
snuggles up to him and he gives her breakfast in bed! (Something she's
been trying to persuade me to do for ages)

Aww....he's a big sofrie really!

I always cook my own food from fresh ingredients.  It takes time, but I did
it even when I was working.
I got a terrible tummy bug when I was in hospital, not sure whether it was
the food (which was dire) or something endemic in there.  It took me almost
4 weeks to recover from it.
I never buy cooked food, ever.  I advise you to do the same.
