Ear mites should never be treated with OTC products unless confirmed by
a vet with a swab test. Many ear problems that people think are mites
are actually ear infections.
That said, it is quite possibly an irritant. It's chemicals that kill
mites. Are you following the label directions, or adding a little extra?
Even one drop too many can irritate the cat's ears. If the cat has
sensitive skin, any amount may irritate her.
