I'm sad on several levels

I'm sad on several levels.

Our next door neighbor had two lovable big dogs. One of the dogs -
Logan, however, hated other animals except for his housemate.

Today, Logan ran outside, and killed another neighbor's dog. Logan has
been taken away by animal control and will probably be euthanized.

I am sad for Logan's canine partner, and for his people. I am especially
sad for the neighbor who so tragically lost her dog. I am somewhat
pissed off that my neighbor did not make better effort to keep Logan
under control.

I am RELIEVED that Logan never killed any of the local cats (that I know
of).

Please send purrs wherever they will do the most good.

Hugs and Purrs,
Mark

It's a very sad story.  I'm sad for all involved.

Talked to the neighbor. After ten days of quarantine, and some seriously
heavy fines and fees, they can get Logan back. Logan will officially be
branded as a "Dangerous Dog" by the city.

I hope they take advantage of this reprieve.

Yes, if they have learned their lesson and keep him confined, they will be
very fortunate, and so will he and the other animals in the neighborhood.
