My name is Sagan, and I am a seeel-poynt bi-color ragdoll. Mommy and
Daddy found that out from asking around and getting help from this list.
My mommy's name is Erica and daddy's name is Milo. They got me from the
bad cage-place, just before I was sent over the Bridge, before my time.
They took me home and then moved to a new apartment, where they could
keep me. Then they got me a kitten to play with. Her name is Ness, and
she isn't quite as pretty as me, but she's nice and loves me best of
all. Then they brought home a big old fuddy-duddy named Trix, who seemed
to know daddy from way back. I guess he must have been waiting for him.
Now, we just got a new one named Kismet, who is real tiny, but might be
kin to me. Her daddy was a ragdoll, but she is black and white, with
ragdoll-length fur that's really soft.
You may be wondering why I type so well. I have been watching the humans
for a while, and I am very fond of reading the news-paper, although I
have a real problem turning the pages, so I have to scratch them open.
Ness and Kismet are just learning to read and write (they are both
kittens, and are having a hard time concentrating), and Trix is too old
to jump up to the computer, so I do the typing, which is just as well.
Mommy, er, Erica here. HI! I was wondering about something. We saw
some videos at the pet-supply store that were made for cats to watch, and
we were wondering if anyone had any input about them. The cats have to
stay indoors, because we live in Fairbanks, and -40 is no place for loved
kitties, and we try to provide as many distractions as possible. So, if
anyone has any ideas, we would love to hear them. Okay, back to Sagan...
I hate it when she does that. Anyway, it has been good to learn about
you all, and I will try to write as often as I can kick my humans off the
Sagan, nnnnesssss, ksmt and TRIX (I made it up here, I want to be noticed!)
