Rob Update - Friday am

I have talked to Pam this morning. Rob is in surgery and it will be
quite awhile before we learn anything.  She said they had to do two
MRI's yesterday because the first one wasn't clear enough.  They have
found four separate tumors and are planning to remove as much as
possible and go from there.

She said they joked with Rob this morning until they took him to
surgery, threatening to have the surgeon tattoo "Property of US
Government" on his a$$.  She said the anesthesiologist promised to
deliver a lot of babbling juice to extract all secrets that Rob knew and
asked Pam if there was anything she wanted to know. She said yeah, she
wanted to know who's lasagna was better, hers or Rob's mother's?

She said their friends are impressed with all the people that are
thinking of Rob and the family and were especially impressed with the
phone calls from Australia. hee hee, just wait until all the cards from
around the world start coming in.

Pam sounded good, she's still sounding strong. She said she was amazed
that Rob has been able to function with all of this going on inside his
head and I agreed. We agreed that it is a sign that Rob is strong and he
will have that going for him. The kids are with her as well as friends
so they aren't alone. She said they will be updating her throughout the
day and if she has any major news someone will call me. Otherwise they
will call when the surgery is over. We'll be gathering during the day in
Yahoo chat to concentrate purrs. If anyone wants to join us give me a
shout - my yahoo ID is julie_snowshoe.

I'll let you know when I know.

Julie,

Thanks so much for the update on Rob.  I'm behind on reading the
group and was very sad to hear that Rob was in the hospital.
Please send my best wishes and purrs from my Daisy and Anna to
Rob and Pam and family.  I'll keep them in my thoughts.

Debbie

Thanks for the update. I can't imagine what either of them are feeling right
now. I am still praying for complete recovery.
