Hi all....just checking in. This has been a VERY interesting week! I'm
Kittens are doing real well. I have farm homes lined up for 8 of them just
in case it comes to that. I'm hoping we can get them tamed by then though.
Taz, Christine and Marmalade took a nap with me this afternoon all curled up in
the waterbed in that room; the others were close by but not friendly and I'm
hopeful they will learn from watching the others. The 3 that slept with me
were rewarded with some bits of cheese, in full view of the other 8 of course.
They all went out in the enclosure again this morning and had a good time.
They aren't big enough to even come close to getting in thru the cat-flap so we
put them in thru the outside entrance. Marmalade got himself stuck in the
buffer between the 2 catflaps and was howling in the little 6" space between
the wall...Garth came upstaires howling and we followed him downstairs to
"rescue" his little buddy. Soooo cute. Marmalade is out of the room most of
the time now and Scarlett and Garth both "mother him"; Wags and Silky still
kinda hate him. Marmalade (the little orange one...3 weeks old est.) is gonna
be fine for sure...I'm searching for a suitable home to adopt him now even
though the shelter won't let him go until he's nuetered at 8-10 weeks depending
on weight. What a handsome kitten this one is! Orange on orange stripes with
a white bib and paws, and very smart and learning fast.
I leant my camera to my folks for a fishing trip so when they get back I'll
have pictures for you all.
Bye for now....
