Ginny's ferals placed today

Post by SweetGin » Wed, 18 Aug 1999 04:00:00

Hi all!  My next group of  ferals were all placed today.  They were
spayed/nueterd on Thursday last and I brought them home to rucuperate with
Garth, Wags, and Scarlett to love them for a few days.  All went well without
any problems.
This morning I drove them out to the horse stables where they will live.
Good accomodations.  Heat and Air-conditioning...nice clean stables and fresh
hay.  The owner had fresh food and water down as agreed upon, in one of those
canister type feeders.  I think they will do real well there.  They are a close
group and semi-friendly.  The owner of the ranch seems interested in the
kittens and thier welfare.  I offered to come and vaccinate them all every year
for the cost of the shots and he took my number down, I hope he calls me.
I'm glad they didn't have to be returned to the vacant lot behind Caesars
Palace.  Its a hot and desolate area and the ferals are very wild there.
I cried when I drove away.....

Ginny,

Make them into tears of joy the best you can...  you did these
ferals a huge favor.  It's called "life".

Hugs,

Bugs

I'm so happy for you and the kitties Ginny :-)  You've done a great job and should
be very proud of yourself!  You still have little Marmalade?  I know it was hard to
give them up, but just think of how much entertainment I am going to get with
stories of the next batch <VEG>

Yes Connie, we still have him and his 3 brothers and a sister left.  They'll be
getting fixed this week and leaving next Monday or Tuesday.  The following week
I'll probably pick up another batch; hopefully I won't go overboard this time,
12 was a little too much to handle!!!

Hi Ginny,
I hope all "good" things happen in your life, and you are blessed for
helping all these poor animals.

Kelly
